You may not feel like it, but you’re rising.
Even in this very season, the one that feels still, quiet, or even confusing, God is positioning you for higher ground. You may not see the movement, but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Sometimes, heaven moves in silence. Sometimes, God builds strength in the unseen.
You see, we often picture “rising” as a dramatic breakthrough, a sudden shift where everything changes overnight. But in God’s Kingdom, elevation often starts subtly: in your obedience, in your prayer, in your patience, in your worship and in your praise.
You rise every time you choose peace over panic.
You rise every time you choose faith over fear.
You rise every time you choose forgiveness over bitterness.
And you rise every time you take the limit off your mind and dare to step into what looks unknown, beyond your understanding, beyond your comfort zone, into the territory where God is calling you.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us,
“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.”
Eagles don’t flap frantically trying to stay in the air; they spread their wings and glide on the wind that carries them. Likewise, you don’t have to force what God has already ordained. Your part is to stay positioned, heart open, mind renewed, and spirit anchored.
Your enemy wants you to look down, to fix your eyes on disappointments, regrets, and limits. He wants you to see what’s missing instead of what’s coming. But God says, “Lift up your eyes.” (Psalm 121:1)
Because the moment you look up, perspective shifts. You begin to see not what’s gone wrong, but what’s possible. You stop magnifying the problem and start magnifying the Promise Keeper.
Don’t underestimate the power of small steps. Even slow progress is still ascent. Each prayer whispered through tears, each moment you choose hope when fear tries to creep in — these are wings in motion.
So don’t stop, not even for a blink of an eye, without realizing that even your stillness can be sacred when it’s anchored in God’s timing. You may think nothing’s happening, but under the surface, He’s aligning everything for your lift-off.
So today, wherever you are, declare this with confidence:
“I am rising. I am growing. I am being lifted by God’s hand.”
And here’s something I often remind myself, I thank God that He didn’t give man charge over my life. Because if He did, people might limit me, delay me, or try to redefine me. But God, in His perfect wisdom, holds my life in His hands.
Jesus said, “Father, those You have given Me, I hold in the palm of My hand, and no one can snatch them out.” Isn’t that powerful? That means you are secure. You are held. You are protected. Even when life feels uncertain, your future is not.
So don’t let fear convince you you’re grounded, you’re not stuck, you’re being strengthened. You’re not behind, you’re being prepared. You’re not losing, you’re being lifted.
Keep your eyes lifted. Keep your faith steady. Because the wind of His Spirit is already beneath your wings.
Rise where you are, because God is lifting you higher.
